What I like the most about SurveyFunnel is that it allows you to interact with your visitors and slot them into appropriate Mailing Lists.
For example, if you had an affiliate website that promoted various products like Icon Sets, PSDs, WordPress Plugins, Joomla Templates etc. You could run a survey wherein you ask your visitors if they are designers or developers.
You could route designers to your “Designer Products” mailing list form so that they can sign up and receive offers related to products that they are interested in like Icon Sets , PSDs and the like. For developers, you could ask them if they are interested in WordPress or Joomla and then display the appropriate mailing list sign up form, based on their answer.

This way, with properly segregated mailing lists wherein you share specific content that is fully relevant to the audience, you have a higher chance of subscribers tuning in to your newsletters and fewer unsubscribes.
